Mark Albert Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mark Albert brings over 20 years of executive-level financial leadership to Bella Information Systems, with extensive experience supporting growth, compliance, and operational excellence across major IT and technology-driven organizations.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Finance or Strategic Management, providing a strong academic foundation in corporate finance, financial planning, risk management, and organizational leadership. Throughout his career, Mark has led financial operations for large and mid-sized IT companies, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls in complex, fast-paced environments.

As CFO, Mark is responsible for financial strategy, contract financial oversight, budgeting, cash flow management, and audit readiness, ensuring fiscal discipline and transparency across the organization. His background includes supporting federal and commercial IT programs, managing cost structures, improving profitability, and aligning financial operations with long-term business objectives.

Mark is recognized for his strategic mindset, deep understanding of the IT industry, and ability to partner effectively with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth and financial integrity.

Remo Chami

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Remo Chami serves as Chief Operating Officer for Bella Information Systems, bringing over 30 years of operational and program leadership experience supporting mission-critical federal programs across the Department of Defense and Homeland Security.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management-related discipline, complemented by advanced professional training in operations management, systems integration, and federal program execution. Throughout his career, Remo has successfully led complex IT and operational initiatives for Department of Defense clients—particularly the U.S. Air Force—as well as highly classified environments supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A).

Remo has extensive experience operating within classified and sensitive environments, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols, federal regulations, and mission assurance requirements. His background includes oversight of large, multidisciplinary teams, coordination with government stakeholders, and delivery of solutions under demanding timelines and operational constraints.

As COO, Remo is responsible for day-to-day operations, program execution, workforce management, and performance oversight, ensuring Bella consistently meets or exceeds contractual requirements. He is widely recognized for his hands-on leadership style, accountability, and ability to drive results, earning strong client confidence and repeat business. Girma Deresso is the Principal and Founder of Bella Information Systems, which he established in 2003 to deliver high-quality information technology services to federal government clients. With over two decades of leadership experience, Girma provides strategic direction and executive oversight to ensure Bella’s solutions align with mission, compliance, and operational excellence.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from George Mason University, providing a strong academic foundation in enterprise IT, communications, and systems integration. Girma’s technical expertise spans cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT modernization, and systems integration, enabling Bella to support complex federal environments.

As Principal, Girma has led Bella’s growth into a trusted federal IT services provider supporting agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
